The FISH-kits is an easy to use, validated test developed for the detection of bacteria in the matrix.
The advantages of the FISH-kits:

- Easy to use protocols
- Rapid results
- Strong signal
- Validated controls
- Convenient storage
Our FISH-kits are suitable for several matrixes:
Blood
The SepCheck™ is a fast, simple to use and validated FISH test
developed to detect pathogenic bacteria in blood on a epi-fluorescence
microscope where you can choose between a FITC (495/520 nm) and CY3
(550/570 nm) label.
- 10-MC-B001 Staphylococcus aureus
- 10-MC-B002 Coagulase Negative Staphylococcus
- 10-MC-B003 Staphylococcus aureus and Coagulase Negative Staphylococcus
- 10-MC-B004 Gram Positive cocci: Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis
- 10-MC-B005 Gram Negative rods: Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacterium spp.
The advantages of the SepCheck™:
- Easy to perform protocol (like the Gram stain) for the specific detection of a bacterial group, genus or species.
- Cost reduction of identification
- Reduction of the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, which
will result in a lower frequency of resistance against broad-spectrum
antibiotics.
- Cost reduction for the hospitals, suppressive empiric
therapy will be replaced by tailored antibiotics with small spectra of
activity and hospital beds will be sooner available.
Fecal
The FISH-kits is an easy to use, validated test developed for the
detection of bacteria in the gutflora. The FISH-kits are available in
different versions;
- Microscopic Enumeration version (quantitative)

- Microscopic Confirmation version (quantitative)
- Flowcytometric version
- Other detection possibilities:
